- The food stall is not very clean
All stadiums have their own food and drink stalls with the viewing to serving all of the spectators coming to watch sports. However, an investigation made by ESPN sports TV channel recently showed that these food stalls here are not clean at all.
They showed different footages of the staff working and cooking in here with their hands being not washed, dirty machines, cockroaches climbing on the soda machines … All seem to be common to be seen in any food stalls of stadiums. Although there have been no cases of any diseases spreading in these stadiums, according to ESPN’s survey of 107 stadiums in North America, there are 28% of these stadiums having been violated at least once the food safety and hygiene regulation.
4. The heavy impact these stadiums have made on the environment:
Forbes Magazine pointed out that major sporting events taking place around the world – especially the Olympics – often made a huge negative impact on the environment.
These major events often leave the environment with tons of waste, consume an enormous source of electricity and water. In addition, carbon emissions is another serious problem for our planet.
This is clearly one of the tough issues which the government needs to solve in the near future.
5. Some do not comply with fire safety regulations:
In addition to the fact that many stadiums feature special construction designs that make them difficult to comply with the fire safety regulations, even some old stadiums often do not have some necessary equipment.
Although today, many stadiums have started to pay more attention to this issue, there are still some exceptional cases.
